A really wonderful late forties, early fifties bombshell of a dress that is made of a inky black silk crepe that is then completely covered in tightly spaced rows of fringe! with little bows embroidered through the fabric. The fringed rows sit atop each other in a layered pattern from top to bottom and the movement this creates every time you move is just fabulous! The top is kept simple and sexy with tiny straps for the shoulders and a simple bodice. The waist nips in to give you that coveted hourglass shape and the skirt is fitted and lean so your every curve is accentuated. Wonderfully constructed and certainly not your basic little black dress. Fringe is the detail of the season and an original dress with it head to toe is a great find. Excellent condition!
